Well, when is the last time we have had several rain delays during a July tournament, rained out league matches and we are half way through the traditional summer months, and I hate to jinx it but NO 100 degree days yet
(I didn’t say it didn’t feel like it)…… okay sorry, we will probably have 30 in a row now
Then I get the question – ‘Ernie, what are you going to cook for us on the court this year’? Well, with great thought and input from others, it will be the meal prep & menu of nachos, cookie dough and a biscuit

Level 7 USTA Jr Tournament for 12-18’s singles / Saturday, August 2nd / deadline Monday, July 28th at 4:59pm by using the provided link
Summer Sizzler USTA Adult Tournament / Aug 23-24 / deadline Saturday, Aug 16, link enclosed!
New section rule on level 6 tournaments, it can only be a 2 day event! Singles & doubles will be offered in levels 2.5-4.5, no mixed in this event!
Jr summer group drills & classes goes through Thursday, July 31st! Still time to participate by contacting Marla Krueger to get on the list at 817-692-6900, schedule enclosed!
Jr ALL Sports Camp / August 4-5, 10am – 1pm. We will hold our 2nd All Sports camp of the summer with tennis, golf & pickleball to finish the summer before the school gets going again! Contact Marla 817-692-6900 to get the kids registered! I have enclosed camp information!

WELCOME Marcelo Mojica – has joined us at Southern Oaks in late June! Some of y’all may have already met him either with lessons or during our junior program!
Marcelo played at South Carolina State University 2017-2021, with other highlights of Panama Davis Cup player, chosen Best Adult Tennis Player in Panama Award in 2019, conference champion at SC State!
